For many years I lived with one of the great loves of my life - a dog named Maggie - and going to work for long days made me feel so guilty. Going on vacation was even harder, because I worried about her all the time while I was away.
In the early years of our life together, I would hire dog sitters to stay in my home to care for her, but one time I came back from a trip to New York only to find that Maggie was - ahem - pooping out some sort of rope. I also found out that the pet sitter had driven her to a dog park way across town, which I did not appreciate without having been asked. Maggie was not good in the car and I couldn’t imagine her driving for 45 minutes to get to this dog park, not to mention if anything happened there, that she would be far away from her vet.
I was done hiring people to stay in my home, and I took her to a pet resort every time I had to leave, which had it’s own set of challenges. Pets love routine, and it’s hard enough for them to cope while you are away. That’s where I want to come in and help.
please believe me when I say that I will care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I’ll follow your desires for their care precisely. And I’ll do my best to be a bright spot in their otherwise boring day while you are at work, or will keep their lives fun and interesting while you are away enjoying a vacation.
I'm also a local yoga teacher and have a flexible work-from-home job as well..
Pawstruck Pet Sitting is a part-time business for me, and I do not have employees or independent contractors working for me at this point. Due to this, I am much more likely to have availability when my clients book far in advance, or have standing weekly appointments.
I look forward to meeting you and your precious furry family members one day soon!
